Gwenyfar is lucky to have come of age in Wilmington's creative community. She has led an exciting life that includes: running away to a commune, starting and managing a wholesale medicinal tea company (Queen Mab's Herbs), writing her manifesto on herbalism (Your Health is in Your Kitchen) and the privilege of serving Rebel Books. Gwenyfar is currently working on launching a publishing company: Bunny Love Press.

She has received awards for both playwriting and poetry. She is proud to write a regular column for our local co-op newsletter, the Tidal Creek Current and to contribute to both the Star News Pender County Neighbors Section and the Cucalorus Film Festival Guide. Her forthcoming works include her first novel: 40 Hours of Sex & Lies (due out in 2007) and The Promise of Peanuts, a real life fairytale chronicling the invention of the Peanut Sheller - the prize winning local invention of Jock Brandis (due out in fall 2006).
