Sharon grew up in Raleigh, NC and from a very young age was always making things. She received a degree in Biology from UNC-Chapel Hill and then pursued a degree in Interior Design @ Meredith College. She never quite finished the degree but delved into the building industry and earned a NC commercial building license. With a background in Biology, Sharon has always been intrigued with the relationship of place on people; a step further, healthy and stimulating spaces on a person's state of well being. It is her firm belief, the two go hand in hand. This has led to her current works, metal sculptures from copper & aluminum and brightly painted canvases of people and places.
